Peter Iriah, Chairman/Chief Engineering Officer
He graduated from the University of Sokoto in 1982 with B.A. (Hons) in Business Management. He joined NEPA in 1984 until his resignation in 1988. In fulfilling a long time ambition as an audio engineering enthusiast, he incorporated GQ Nigeria Limited in 1991 and began trading in audio equipment locally. Five years later in 1996, he proceeded to Parsons Centre for Audio Studies, New York in the United States of America for a professional training course in Architectural Acoustic Engineering and graduated with CAAE in 1997. He worked briefly with Meyer Sound in different fields of audio engineering for about a year in the United States as a freelance on various installations on Broadway as well as touring projects in Europe and the Middle East. Mr Peter Iriah returned to Nigeria in 1998. In 2001, Meyer Sound officially appointed Mr Peter Iriah as its pioneering regional Technical Rep and authorized dealer in West Africa. Since 1996 to date Mr Peter Iriah has also undergone series of Professional Audio training programs at the Meyer Sound Laboratories headquarters/factory in Berkeley, California. He is a certified system engineer in the SIM3 (Source Independent Measuring system) and MAPP (Multipurpose Acoustic Prediction Program). In June 2004, Mr Peter Iriah attended the prestigious BMC in New York, specializing in Theatre/Live Sound Application. He also attended the LDI/ET Live in Las Vegas in October 2004 specializing in Touring/Live Sound Reinforcement. In May 2003 Mr. Peter Iriah attended a CEDIA training seminar in Home/Office Networking Technologies, at Russound Headquarters/Factory in Newmarket, New Hampshire USA, specializing in Home Theatre and Corporate Boardroom designs and engineering application. A year later in June 2004, at the same Russound facility, he attended another training seminar in Interfacing/Data-Cabling Infrastructure and specializing in Multi-Zone/Multi-source A/V Systems Application. In 2006 he attended another course in Fundamentals of System Design, Implementation and Optimization at the Meyer Sound Headquarters headquarters/factory and another course in New York in System Design Principles and SIM 3. Mr Peter Iriah is an associate member of AES (Audio Engineering Society) based in New York USA. Mr Peter Iriah is married with children.
Ifeolu Iriah, Director (Administration & Marketing)
She graduated from University of Ife in 1984 with B.A. (Hons) in English. In 1986, she got a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from University of Lagos. In 1987 she also graduated with M.Sc Mass Communication (PR & Advertising) from the University of Lagos. She began her career in 1987 with the Lagos State Water Corporation as the Public Relation Officer in the corporation. In 1988, she moved on to Agrovog Limited (a Management Consultancy firm) as public Relations Manager/Trainer. In 1988 she moved on to Lintas Limited as Client Service Manager, in 1991 she moved to the UK as to work as Administrator to The Sanctuary Advisory Centre in London. She came back to Nigeria to establish her own company Excelsis Promotions Limited in 1992. Married with children, she is a member of the following professional bodies; Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Nigerian Marketing Association (NIMARK).
